In August 2013, I graduated in the Master's program of Human Machine Communication at the department of Artificial Intelligence from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. After finishing my BSc in Psychology, I was looking for a more technical approach to human behavior and a better understanding of cognitive modelling and its practical application. The Master HMC also gave me the opportunity to acquire experience in interaction design and usability engineering.
After fulfilling my Master's thesis in Marseille, France, I moved back to Groningen, where I started working as project assistent at the University Medical Center Groningen for a large multi-national study to improve the communication of benefits and risks of medicines to patients and healthcare professionals. I finished the study as project manager, and I'm now looking forward to start a career that is more closely connected to my study area.
I'm currently doing an internship in the Custormer Journey Mining team at "Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs". Being part of the Scrum team, I analyse large quantities of customer contacts to pinpoint where communication should be improved. In addition, I design and test new interactions, all with the aims to improve communication and reduce undesirable calls and emails.
I learn a lot and I enjoy the job very much, but I'm nevertheless open for any vacancy in which I could evaluate and improve usability and human-technology interaction, or in which my background could otherwise be fitting for an interesting and varied job in the northern part of the Netherlands. Feel free to contact me!
